Ishmael's Corner ~ Storytelling Techniques For Business Communications

Mother’s Day Special: PR Agency CEO Grills Mom on Public Relations Profession

I gave my Mom plenty of storytelling fodder as a youngster.

It’s not like the trajectory of my youth marked me as a potential felon.

But I did prefer to ignore rather than test parental boundaries which caused some heartburn from the Mom.

With Mother’s Day around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to switch roles. No more “Where you were young man last night until two in the morning.”

This time I would be the one asking the questions.

To bastardize a Bill Cosby line, “Moms do say the darndest things.”

Obviously, the branding campaign around my blog needs some work.

Thanks Mom for being a good sport.

You’re the best!

Happy Mother’s Day.

Note I: I would like to thank my videographer, Jerry Hoffman, who shot the video with his iPhone, Jacqueline Meyler for her video editing role and Chauncey Hill for art direction. Yes, it takes a village to raise a mom (on video).
