Life is better than fiction.
If you had any doubt, consider my all-time favorite birthday card (it’s that time of year). My granddaughter Addy served as creative director, copywriter, and designer of the card.
In the spirit of full disclosure, she created this card some time ago.
Not only does “it keep going on,” but life is pretty darn good. Heather and the rest of my family surround me with love and bad puns. The photo below comes from the Agency’s 30th anniversary party a few years ago. It shows my oldest son and Addy’s dad, Otis, in the back row with daughter Grace, in the front row, son Elliot on my far left with Heather and my little brother — still my little brother even though he’s taller — at my side.
My parents, now in their 90’s, still live at the same house in Tucson where my siblings and I grew up. This photo shows Heather and me with my parents in Singapore walking Haji Lane when the Agency celebrated an Asia Pacific milestone.
We have an eclectic group of friends who value conversation, food, and laughter.
Yep, “life keeps going on.”
